KCU Southeast Area-Wide Picnic

  • Legacy Park • Shelter 2 1801 Northeast Coneflower Drive Lee's Summit, Missouri, 64086 United States (map)

Join us for a simple, family-friendly picnic gathering for people across the southeast side of Kansas City who are pursuing the smaller way, disciple-making, and more decentralized expressions of church. If you live in Jackson and Cass County or the cities of Independence, Grandview, Raytown, Lee’s Summit, Pleasant Hill, Belton, and the surrounding area, you are invited.

This isn’t a conference or a training. It’s simply a chance to be together—to meet others who are following Jesus in similar ways, hear what God is doing in different communities, encourage one another, and listen together for what the Lord may be saying and doing across this part of the city.

Whether you’re already part of a microchurch or disciple-making community, exploring what this could look like, or simply wanting to connect with others pursuing the smaller way, we’d love to have you with us.

Come ready to:

  • Meet other disciple-makers and microchurch leaders from around the area

  • Share stories of where you’re seeing God at work

  • Encourage and learn from one another

  • Build relationships across communities and neighborhoods

  • Pray and listen together for what God may be doing in this part of Kansas City

We’ll provide the main picnic food and drinks. If you’re able, we’d love for you to bring a side dish, fruit, or dessert to share. When you register, let us know what you’re planning to bring so we can make sure we have a good mix of everything.

Please register below so we know who’s coming and can plan for enough food.

Kids and families are welcome.
