Our vision and prayer for New Community has always been one where we intentionally give the church back to ordinary spirit-filled people. Together we would create spiritual families of grace, healing, and liberation. Intensive for Teams
The KC Underground Intensive is more like a workshop than a seminar. During our time together, you will hear an overview from local directors of how the KC Underground is structured and how it functions within our city. You’ll also spend time with your team discerning how you might contextualize these principles in your own city.
You’ll hear stories of how everyday people are joining Jesus in their network of relationships. We’ll eat together, worship together, and listen for the voice of the Spirit together as we process over these two days. You’ll hear from local Hub directors and everyday microchurch leaders.
Our time will primarily be driven toward exploring movement principles, not on how to shift predominant model church experiences toward decentralized networks.
June 22 (4p) - June 23 (9p). We encourage teams to be fly out Tuesday rather than miss the last session with microchurch leaders on Monday night.
$300 covers the cost of materials and meals from Sunday evening through dinner Monday night (except for breakfast Monday morning).

What to expect:
Sharing time together by learning how to easily build lots of joy with one another
Modeling how to confidently build a rhythm of healthy attachment and relational trust
Utilizing all five S.A.L.V.E skills modeled by the Hesed Coaches organically, in real time during group interactions

What You You’ll Be Learning:
Learn how to easily build lots of joy with one another intentionally in a relationally organic, effortless, and relaxed way.
Have the confidence to implement rhythms of healthy attachment and relational trust with complete strangers in a relatively short amount of time.
Understand the five minimum viable relational skills framework we use, called S.A.L.V.E., which lays a foundation for an emotionally healthy Christian community culture to thrive.

From beginners to seasoned Holy Spirit practitioners, we welcome you into a rich training experience.
Starting with extraordinary prayer, Jesus (anointed by Holy Spirit) would often minister in compelling and challenging ways throughout Scripture. Every time Jesus showed up and did only what He saw the Father doing, very powerful things would happen almost always. Upon His ascension, both the Twelve and Paul continued to demonstrate and model likewise for others to imitate.
Partnering with Holy Spirit strategically through cultivating long-term evangelism/discipleship relationships by returning to Jesus through His Word is exceptional. It’s also written that many unbelievers in the first century came to faith and discipleship through sudden, dramatic, obedience-based power encounters.
The School of Kingdom Ministry team desires to help all who want to have greater accessibility, fluency, and competency to partner with Holy Spirit in this way as well. As God’s children, we have full access to receive, learn, and grow in His gifts as part of our Kingdom inheritance. Paul encourages us in I Cor 14:1 to “let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives, especially the ability to prophesy.”
