The Wegners
Give to support the work of the Wegners through KC Underground
Rob and Michelle Wegner have served their whole adult lives in growing innovative, influential churches. During the last 25 years they have been directly involved in planting thousands of churches, both domestically and internationally. For example, during their time at Westside Family Church, Rob’s team trained leaders that planted more than 700 churches internationally in four years. Locally, the church planting network in Kansas City has planted more than 20 churches.
Michelle is passionate about art, writing, and spiritual direction. She recently received her certification from Fuller Seminary in Spiritual Direction. Rob is passionate about disciple-making, missionary formation, church planting, and leadership. Rob is the Global Catalyst for Relationships and Reproduction for the New Thing network of over 1,600 churches in 177 local networks. Rob is also on the Exponential Network Team, leading learning communities, like Future Travelers, where Rob coached more than 200 megachurches pastors alongside Alan Hirsch. Rob is also the author of:
Missional Moves: 15 Tectonic Shifts that Transform Churches, Communities and the World (Exponential Series, Zondervan)
Made For More, which he coauthored with Todd Wilson. It will be the basis for the 2019 calendar year for Exponential, America’s largest network of church planting organizations.
Find Your Place: Locating Your Calling through Gifts, Passions, and Story, which he co-wrote with Brian Phipps. This will be the next book in the Exponential Series, being released at the Orlando Exponential event where Rob will be a Main Stage speaker.
The Wegners believe this call to plant The Kansas City Underground is something their whole life has prepared them for. This endeavor will pull together and leverage the experiences and learning, the gifts and calling, the wounds and healing of their entire lives, leveraging it all for the deepest impact. They’ve never felt so sure of something Jesus has called them to.
