Give to support the work of the Veiths through KC Underground

Timmy and Erin Veith have each been following Jesus since their youth, serving Him and furthering the Kingdom of God wherever they are led. For almost 20 years, Timmy worked in kitchens and bakeries around Kansas City, pursuing a love of cooking while immersing himself in the culture and lives of his colleagues and customers. His experience as a Christ follower in a predominantly secular context has served to add fuel to a fire burning for those that don’t know how much they matter to Jesus. Erin is a Michigan native but has made Kansas City her home. Timmy and Erin have a deep passion for the marginalized and outliers of their community. 

As members of Westside Family Church for 12 years, the Veith’s saw first-hand the gospel spreading in Kansas City by intentional relationship building, disciple making, and church planting. During that time, Timmy and Erin were compelled to better align their finances with sound, biblical teaching in order to experience real joy with the blessings God had given them. The commands of generosity and sacrificial giving deepened their passion to meet the needs of impoverished people. This desire to align their faith with their finances has continued to be a priority in their lives along with a desire to help others do the same.

In the fall of 2018, the Veith’s were called to link arms with the Kansas City Underground as part of the core launch team. Timmy has followed that call further by joining the Underground in a full-time position as the Director of the Financial Services Team. In this role, he supports a disciple making movement within Kansas City by empowering people to live in accordance with their gifts and passions and equipping them to live a life of financial freedom and Godly stewardship. 

The Veith’s believe they have been prepared by God for a time such as this. This new adventure pulls together the experiences and learning, the gifts and calling, the wounds and healing of their entire lives, leveraging it all for the deepest impact. They’ve never felt so sure of something to which Jesus has called them.
