Plant the Gospel Video Series
This six-part video series is designed to equip ordinary people—and the microchurches they lead—with simple, reproducible practices for planting the gospel incarnationally in their context. Throughout these teachings, leaders from the KC Underground share the heart of the Missionary Pathway and offer practical tools for becoming a gospel presence, a gospel demonstration, and a gospel proclamation among the people God has entrusted to you.
These videos will give you practical handles—rooted in Scripture, shaped by global disciple-making movements, and tested by leaders in our own city. Our hope is that these tools help you embody and share the good news of Jesus where you live, work, learn, and play.
This video introduces the five-phase Missionary Pathway—extraordinary prayer, living like a missionary, gospel planting, the church emerging, and multiplication. It shows how microchurches plant the gospel incarnationally by becoming a gospel presence, a gospel demonstration, and a gospel proclamation among their people.
Rob Wegner unpacks why every movement needs a simple, memorable gospel “fractal.” He explains how Jesus’ announcement—Jesus is Lord—becomes a holistic framework (the whole story, whole expression, and whole life) that ordinary people can share naturally and repeatably.
This teaching covers the Five Thresholds of Postmodern Conversion, a practical tool for understanding where people are in their spiritual journey. You’ll learn how to discern trust, curiosity, openness, seeking, and surrender so you can walk with people at the right pace in the right way.
Haley Miller shares how students in Zero Hour are making disciples through simple, relational gospel conversations. She introduces FROG Questions—Friends/Family, Recreation, Occupation, Goals/Gifts—to help you build deeper relationships that naturally open doors to spiritual conversations.
The Story Diamond helps you understand God’s big story—Creation, Fall, Redemption, Restoration—and how your own story fits into it. This video shows how the dominant stories people live by fall short, and how Jesus invites us into a better story that brings purpose, wholeness, and transformation.
Dori introduces the Discovery Bible Study (DBS) method—a simple, reproducible way for groups to explore Scripture together without an expert teacher. Through the three-thirds process (Look Back, Look Up, Look Forward), DBS helps people discover truth for themselves, obey what they learn, and grow into disciple-makers who can lead others with confidence.
This final video unpacks the Four G’s of Gospel Fluency—God is Great, Glorious, Good, and Gracious—and shows how learning to “gospel yourself” shapes your identity, heals areas of unbelief, and empowers you to share good news with others in real-time, everyday life.
