The Disciple Making Training is an on the ground training experience including lunch, worship, and teaching done in person with the sole purpose to train students to be disciple makers and launch a team of disciple makers in their schools called Zero Hour Teams. We will cover: Extraordinary Prayer, Relational Evangelism, Discovery Bible Studies, Multiplication, and more! The training is once a week for four weeks.

In 2024, The Shawnee Hub of the KC Underground is partnering with The Trauma Healing Center of Kansas City to equip us to be the most effective missionary disciple-makers in our context.

Sessions for the Powerful Tools for Effective Disciple-Makers training will include caring for and responding well to the people in your context, dealing with hard situations and preventing fractures in relationships, and building the strength of your community.

Skills gained here can bring unity and strengthen family in all contexts, including microchurches, Hubs, and throughout our beloved Kansas City.

The Spiritual Authority Cohort exists to encourage, empower, and bless men and women with practical prayer tools that allow them to step into their spiritual authority in their homes, workplace, neighborhoods, and beyond.

The goal is to learn and practice these tools within a safe environment (in order to gain confidence and step into the spiritual authority that has been delegated to us in the name of Jesus).

The Spiritual authority cohort will cover:

• Declarative Prayer and Blessing

• Hearing God as the Basis for Spiritual Authority

• Inner Healing as a Key Component to Exercising Spiritual Authority

• Physical Healing and the In-breaking of the Kingdom

• Operating as a Royal Priest in the Royal Priesthood

• Reclaiming Territory and the Reality of the Supernatural

The power of this Cohort is that it is experiential and discovery-based. There will be a short time of teaching followed by time to experiment together with a specific prayer tool during the meeting, AND you will experiment on your own throughout the month. You can expect to spend approximately 1-2 hours experimenting each month outside of the meeting time.

The Missionary Pathway Huddle is our primary cohort experience for exploring how to be catalyzed on mission in your neighborhood or network of relationships.

We want to learn together, process together, and engage with practical exercises and tools to begin planting the gospel and seeing micro expressions of spiritual families emerge. We will have online pre-work each week and will gather together in-person to process and engage our context.

Missionaries Made is a sixteen-week cohort designed to help you integrate the BLESS rhythms into your everyday life. Missionaries Made is based on the fundamental belief that God is already at work redeeming and restoring all people and all things—and all we need to do is join Him. This experience helps people discover how to join Jesus in blessing the people they live, work, learn and play with. In these four months together, participants begin building habits based on the five rhythms of missionary life: Begin in prayer, Listen and engage, Eat, Serve, and Story (BLESS).
