A New Chapter of
Mission in Kansas City

My heart aches for people who meet Jesus and then have nowhere to go — who have an encounter and leave without direction.

At Sunday S'mores we throw house parties where hundreds gather for food, worship, and baptisms in the backyard, and last year 52 people were baptized across Kansas City.

Through Runway, our discipleship groups, I help those new believers learn to discern God’s leading in their lives, follow and obey Him, and then go do the same for others: one woman who didn’t know Jesus and who'd never opened a Bible was baptized in October of 2025 and is now co-leading her own Runway group this September 2026.

God calls me a table setter — someone who arranges a place where people can meet the One — and for the next nine months my wife and I are training with KC Underground to learn how to teach others to set tables we'll probably never sit at ourselves.

My longing is that every backyard, workplace, and friend group in Kansas City would have someone in it who knows how to introduce people to Jesus and walk with them after.
