Rick and Alice Bush

Rick and Alice have a deep passion for serving people who live on the street. They began by handing out food, clothing, and other supplies but soon felt called to do more. As they prayed for direction, God told Alice to prayer walk a specific park. They obeyed, and through that, God impressed upon them to take the Good News to this park and give the people there an opportunity to see, hear, experience, and respond to it.

With this mission in mind, they started a weekly Discovery Bible Study at the park. Over the past several months, their efforts have grown into what they now call Street Church. The homeless community living in and around the park knows they can count on Rick and Alice to show up every Friday afternoon, rain or shine, with food, drinks, a listening ear, and the Good News of Jesus. Through their consistent presence, they’ve become a steady source of hope and encouragement in the lives of their microchurch members.
