Chris Renshaw

Three years ago, Chris wasn’t walking with Jesus. But through the influence of disciple-makers at KC Underground, he encountered the Holy Spirit and became a committed follower of Christ. Along with his wife Renee, Chris felt called to live on mission and joined the Missionary Pathway training with KC Underground.

A year ago, when the coffee shop Chris had worked at for 20 years announced its closure, he prayed for direction. His sister encouraged him to apply at a local homeless shelter. Despite feeling unqualified, Chris sensed the Holy Spirit’s leading and stepped out in faith.

Today, Chris is fully invested in serving men battling addiction and despair. Through his work, he is witnessing lives transformed by Christ. A Discovery Bible Study has already formed, and a disciple-making movement is beginning to emerge. Looking ahead, Chris hopes to establish a coaching network to support these men as they transition into new lives with Jesus.
