Finding quiet and peace with God

Sometimes, our minds can be busy and full of worries, with so many things happening around us all the time. It’s like our brains never get a break! But it’s important to take time for quiet and think about what’s going on inside us. Finding a few moments to be still helps us understand our feelings and thoughts, separate from everything else.

This week let’s focus on what Jesus teaches us. Let’s take some quiet time to just be with God, our Heavenly Father. When we set aside time to listen to Him, even though life feels noisy and unsettling, we can feel calm, refreshed, and closer to God. The Bible tells us we can find rest and peace by getting to know God better, helping us live, breathe, and move with a non-anxious presence of body, mind and soul.

This guide will use a few important Bible verses to help remind us of Jesus’ promises and God’s plans for us. As we think about these verses, we’ll remember the chances we have to walk with Jesus, to seek God truly, and to fill our minds with God’s peace.
